Caroline is 2 Months!!

Today was the big two month check up-shot and all :) Of course, big sister Brooke has a cold, so the entire family headed to the pediatrician to get checked out. Luckily, all that she has is a cold-nothing worse, but she has passed it on to her sister so that has been fun for Gary and me. Now for the stats....Caroline is now 23 1/4 inches long (95%) and weighs 11 lbs, 9 oz (25%). I couldn't believe she was over 11 lbs!! I thought that she was going to be off the charts...not so much. Still long and lean..what is up with that??!! She is right on target in terms of 'activity' (if you can even call it that...she smiles and can lift her head 45 degrees) and the only thing that is of concern is a flat spot on the right side of her head. I had noticed it the other day and pointed it out to Gary. She tends to favor that side and her neck muscles are getting a bit tight. We just have to work on turning her the opposite way in her bed and helping her turn to her left as much as we can. The DR also let us know that we can start letting her sleep as long as she would like at night. This is GREAT news to our ears! I think that she could honestly make it through the night. We were still having to wake her up for her nightly feeding, but no longer! We cannot wait to once again get a good nights sleep :) Next appointment isn't until 4 months!!
